High-level committee to examine of lifting AFSPA in Nagaland
- The Government of India has decided to constitute a ‘five-member’ committee to look into the demand for withdrawal of Armed Forces (Special Powers) Act “AFSPA” in Nagaland.
- The committee is headed by Vivek Joshi.
- The AFSPA empowers security forces to conduct operations and arrest anyone without any prior warrant.
- It also gives immunity to the forces if they shoot someone dead.
Gram Ujala Programme
- The state-owned CESL has achieved a milestone to distribute 50 lakh LED bulbs.
- This milestone was achieved under the Project Crore of the Gram Ujala Programme.
- Gram Ujala’s scheme is being implemented in rural households across the states of Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, and Karnataka.
- The will be run till March 31, 2022.

- SavorEat has become one of the first companies to use 3D printing technology to cook food.

Artificial Intelligence Prosecutor
- Researchers in China have developed a machine that can charge people with crimes by using artificial intelligence.
- This is the world’s first kind of technology.
- The AI prosecutor has the capability to file a charge with more than 97 percent accuracy.
- It will file a charge on the basis of a verbal description of the case.
