 There shall be negative marking for Incorrect answers in First and Second Stage CBT Exam

 For each incorrect answer 1/3rd of the total marks would be deducted for each attempted question

 Computer Based Aptitude Test shall be conducted only for candidates applying for ALP Exam

 There is no negative marking in Computer Based Aptitude Test

If you have applied for ALP Post and qualified both the stages of CBT, you would be called for Document Verification after qualifying the Fourth Stage Computer Based Aptitude Test.

 If you are applying for the Technician Post, then you will be directly called for Document Verification after First and Second Stage CBT

Computer Based Aptitude Test (Third Stage only for ALP Posts)

 The candidates need to secure at least 42 marks in each of the test to qualify the exam.

 There is no relaxation permissible in this stage and is applicable for all qualified candidates.

Document Verification (Fourth Stage)

(Qualifying Marks)

Document Verification is the final stage in ALP/Technician Exam and is applicable for all the candidates who qualify both the stages of CBT as well as CBAT Exam.

Final Selection

The final merit list would be depicted from the candidates qualifying in the Aptitude Test, with 70 % weightage is for marks obtained in Part – A of Second Stage CBT and 30% weightage for the marks obtained in Computer Based Aptitude Test.

The time given for the Stage-1 examination is of 90 minutes or 1.5 hours.

RRB NTPC Stage-1 will be a Computer Based Test that means it will be conducted online.

There number of questions will be 100.

For each correct answer 1 mark will be awarded and for the incorrect answer, 1/3rd marks will be deducted.

Candidates can now checkout  their NTPC Results as the final Results are out.

A total of 120 questions will be asked in the CBT for NTPC Stage-2 Exam.

Each correct answer will be awarded 1 mark.

Negative marking of 0.333 marks is set for each wrong answer.
