IBPS PO Exam
IBPS PO Exam conducts Common Written Examination (CWE) since 2011 to recruit officer and clerks in public sector banks. It is a 3 level examination i.e. preliminary, main and interview. Preliminary is of qualifying in nature i.e. the marks obtained in the main exam and interview will be taken into account for final consideration (preparation of final merit list). Candidates are screened and shortlisted at each level as they progress to the successive stages. The exam has sectional as well as overall cut off which has to be cleared in each exam. IBPS makes the provisional allotment for the selected candidates and the rest will be handled by the participating banks.

IBPS PO Exam Pattern
It comprises of five sections with 200 questions of 1 mark each in all section. Candidates have to attempt all the sections and qualify with minimum required marks in each section.

Negative Marks:There is penalty of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. Applicants should advised to ensure about the correct answer while marking the answer otherwise they can left the option blank as there is no penalty will be applicable for blank option.
Minimum Cut off Marks:
The candidates must score a minimum marks required to qualify as per the cut off issued by the banks.
Aspirants who qualify the exam by fulfilling banks cutoff will be called for interview.
Interview:
It is the final selection process in which shortlisted aspirants have to face direct interview and gives answers asked by the interviewer based on bank.
