Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission has announced to release of the TNSPC Group 2 Recruitment Notification on 23 February 2022.
Candidates will be selected for different Interview and Non-Interview posts under Group 2 Services. TNPSC Notification for Group 2 and 2A is to be released on 23rd February 2022 & the prelims exam is to be held on 21st May 2022.
TNPSC Group 2 Exam 2022 – Overview
The TNPSC group 2 exam is conducted in an offline mode followed by Interview for some posts, document verification and final joining.
The selection for Group 2 & Group 2 A will be done through the selection process as discussed below:
- Group 2 (Interview Posts): Preliminary exam, main written exam, and Interview/Personality Test.
- Group 2A (Non-Interview Posts): Written Test only.

A total of 5529 TNPSC Group 2 Vacancy (116 for Group 2 & 5413 for Group 2A) has been announced along with the tentative exam planner. The detailed vacancy distribution will be released along with TNPSC Group 2 Notification 2022.

TNPSC Group 2 Exam Pattern
The TNPSC Group 2 Exam Pattern as per the latest Syllabus is given below. There has been a revision in the TNPSC Group 2 Exam. There has been an addition of an extra paper, “Paper I” in the Mains Exam. This paper will be Qualifying in nature.

Educational Qualification
